Custom Walkway Canopies

Here at Austin Mohawk, we have been providing custom walkway canopies for as long as we can remember. 

We are excited to introduce our standardized walkway canopy design which utilizes a simple, effective, economical, and aesthetically pleasing steel design that bolts together easily in the field with no welding required. We offer a variety of steel finishes including:

• Painted
• Hot dip galvanized
• Powder coated 
• Primed 

We incorporate a slight pitch to facilitate drainage which can either just roll off the roof or be captured in a gutter and directed to downspouts at the columns. Our standard walkway canopy widths are 8’-0” and 10’-0” but can be adjusted as needed. The column pairs are typically set on 10’-0” centers along the canopy length.

When it comes to your roof, we understand that not all projects can be satisfied with just one material or product. To that end, we offer several alternatives to achieve the particular look and feel desired.

In addition to traditional roof materials such as B-Deck, MegaRib, and deck pans, we are excited to introduce a translucent polycarbonate roofing system called SUNPAL! This lightweight, durable, and simply beautiful product can really let the light shine through your walkway roof! SUNPAL is provided as a complete roof system from our friends at PALRAM, and includes beautifully designed aluminum trim as well as hidden mounting hardware, all of which results in a stunning canopy!

And as if that wasn’t enough, SUNPAL can be cold bent in the field during installation when a curved roof is the order of the day! Curved roof designs are customizable and therefore not necessarily part of our standard walkway canopy offering. However, we couldn’t resist dangling that carrot as a perfect solution when your new walkway canopy needs to make a statement!
